Las dos canciones tienen rasgos comunes: 1º)  Musicalmente excelentes; 2º) Corales; 3º) Interpretadas por cantantes extraordinarios; 4º) Hablan de amistad, hermandad, alegría y esfuerzo personal; 5º) Levantan el ánimo y buscan promover la solidaridad. Por orden cronológico de composición, la primera canción es “That's What Friends Are For”. La componen en 1982 Burt Bacharach y Carole Bayer Sager. Pero es en 1985 cuando, para beneficio de la Asociación Americana de Investigación del SIDA, la canción aparece en el mercado de la mano de Dionne Warwick, espléndida, que canta ...
