Segun parece, en el tercer trimestre del año, las ventas han aumentado un 31% respecto al mismo periodo de 2007, hasta un total de 5.540 millones de dólares. Por su parte, el beneficio neto creció un 26%, hasta alcanzar 1.350 millones de dólares, generando cada acción de Google un beneficio de 4,24 dólares. En el tercer trimestre de 2007, el beneficio neto fue de 1.070 millones de dólares, o 3,36 dólares por acción.
